The excitement is building!  Aspen Challenge Teams are putting their final touches on their presentations, challengers are getting nervous, we are about to enter the big leagues.  The Aspen Challenge Showcase is on Thursday, April 18th, 2024.

This fair is geared towards providing students with information about careers and preparing them for life after high school. Join us!

Join us on April 16th for a screening of "Black Men in America," an MSNBC documentary, where we'll be joined by Pulitzer Prize and Emmy Award Winner Trymaine Lee.

The Panel for Educational Policy consists of 23 voting members.  Each borough president will appoint one member, 5 members are elected by CEC Presidents (one member from each borough), and 13 members appointed by the Mayor.  The parent representatives will serve a one-year term from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.

In this workshop, families and professionals will learn:
• The transition planning process, requirements, and postsecondary options to prepare students for adult life and new educational, employment, and independent living settings.
• Different parts of the transition planning process that help families and professionals to support students in developing self-determination skills and measurable postsecondary goals and annual goals.
• How to use resources embedded in the Family Guide to further enhance your
understanding of each of the topic areas and to enhance collaboration in transition planning.
