Multilingual Career Connections - Feb 16 & 17 2021

In honor of Black History Month and Career Exploration Month, the Division of Multilingual Learners is partnering with the New York Public Library, Global Kids, and the Qatar Foundational International to host Multilingual Career Connections for students and families in English, Haitian Creole, Spanish and Arabic

Update for Families - NYCDOE - February 11 2021

This Update for Families contains information about running for a seat in the coming election for Community and Citywide Education Councils, the reopening of our middle schools for in-person learning, new deadlines for applying to middle and high school, and resources to help foster family discussions during Black History Month and Respect for All Week.

BGHS Respect For All Week

During Respect For All Week (Friday, February 5, February 8 - Thursday, February 11, 2021), schools including BGHS across the city will highlight and build upon ongoing programs to help students, staff and communities gain a better understanding of diversity. We will showcase initiatives that promote respect for diversity and focus on preventing bullying, intimidation, and bias-based harassment.
