Multilingual Career Connections - Feb 16 & 17 2021

In honor of Black History Month and Career Exploration Month, the Division of Multilingual Learners is partnering with the New York Public Library, Global Kids, and the Qatar Foundational International to host Multilingual Career Connections for students and families in English, Haitian Creole, Spanish and Arabic:

 

On February 16th: Resume Writing Workshop for High School Students

Learn how to build a resume to showcase your accomplishments, expertise, and skillsets.

·       11:00am-12:00pm – English session (registration)

·       12:30pm-1:30pm – Haitian Creole session (registration)

·       2:30pm-3:30pm – Spanish session (registration)

·       4:00pm-5:00pm – Arabic session (registration)

 

On February 17th: Career Panel for Middle & High School Students

Hear from Black and Brown professionals about a variety of careers and industries, as well as how to leverage multilingualism as an asset in the workplace.
