The last NYCPS Climate Action Day of the 2025–26 school year is on Wednesday, May 20 ! Each Climate Action Day, NYC public school communities engage in activities highlighting climate education and sustainability practices. The theme for May is "Water," which encourages schools to focus on water ecosystems, conservation, and adapting to increased rainfall and storms in our city.
